In 1981 Ted Gomillion created the most technologically advanced,
independent sound stage and theatre in Hollywood.
Until its sale in October 1989, the 150 seat Gomillion Theater was one of just a few re-recording stages in
the world capable of any film format. It's 45 foot wide screen was perfect for
70mm six track discreet sound and 24 track audio & video locked to film.
It's complement of 5 Altec A2 speaker systems with sub-woofers and AB
surround system made it a superb and accurate sound studio.

With a bank of 20 high-speed 6 Track Magnetics film dubbers connected through
a 96 input Quad-Eight mixing console, Ted offered one of the most sophisticated
Post Production facilities in the world.
In fact, many classic films were post-produced at this facility, including:
- MGM’s “Brainstorm” (70MM 6 track stereo)
- Universal/Coppola's “Napoleon” (70 MM 6 track stereo)
- Warner’s “Police Academy”
- Paramount’s “Uncommon Valor”
- Plus over 500 other film credits – (complete list
available upon request)
